Howard Lindel Beckman was born 26 November 1919 in Toledo, Ohio and died 12 Mar 1991 in North Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. He married Shirley Louise Barr on 26 June 1942, daughter of Charles Alanzo Barr and Blanche Hinkson. She was born 11 may 1925 in Mishawaka, Indiana and died 26 May 1993 in North Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. Howard and Shirley now rest in Rest Hills Memorial Park, North Little Rock, Arkansas. The children of Howard and Shirley are:

Roy Edward Beckman, born 15 October 1944 in South Bend, Indiana and died January 1989 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
